"Lost time is never found again." ~Benjamin Franklin

Wow. I've wasted time... I mean we all have, but I've wasted time looking for things. A very nice weaving shuttle disappeared from me over a year ago. I have looked up and down our apartment over and over and over looking for it, many times (our place is not that big). Talk about frustrating! Well... last night while looking for a piece of fabric (which i still haven't found) I found the shuttle! Talk about exciting! It was the centerpiece at dinner last night. Our company was a little confused, but I was happy to share the fact that it has returned!

Also found this week was my trusty bone folder (for bookbinding/paper folding/origami), a pattern piece (this wasn't really lost, it just blended in with the mess for a day or two), fun and beautiful fabric at IKEA, dress patterns, a lamp for over the computer, and Daim coffee (thanks you Grandpa D!)!!

Speaking of finding things, serious fun has been had by finding dollar coins around the apartment hid by my father in law. Really, who doesn't smile when you are putting away dishes and happen upon a dollar in the silverware drawer! So yup, JD's folks were down visiting us, um I mean visiting Penny, and good times were had by all. The weather was a bit cooler and grayer than normal for this time of year but that's okay. We of course sampled some of Houston's diverse food venues, played many games, made more felt food, and simply enjoyed each others company. Penny took to her grandfolks quite well, and smiles were a plenty. New happenings include Penny scooting across the floor while Paul and Linda were here, she uses her arms quite well, and her top two teeth are poking through her gums this week! She is a growing, quickly. I'm glad that JD's folks came down and got to play with Penelope in her environment, and we look forward to my folks coming over Easter to see her too! Visitors galore - what fun! Only 4 more days until my folks arrive, and Good Friday, and my birthday... hehehe

p.s. video of penelope scooting, enjoy
