So I quit facebook. Yup. It was eating my time. Enough said... I'm sure I'll miss the pictures, statuses, posts, and such, however I think I need to focus attention elsewhere. Every time I'd log on I felt pressured to post photos (which takes ages on our computer, so it never got done) and respond to every little thing. can.not.do.it.anymore. I logged on and off for the last time yesterday afternoon and I am excited.

the high today might hit 82! 82!! I mean come on people, come and visit! hehe.. no really - it's been beautiful here lately. But we do need rain. My little plants are growing big already. In other news, I have used the broiler on our oven again and no fire alarms went off!!! So cool! and the dinner was great. It even looked like the picture! Turkey meatballs with roasted peppers and a simple green salad. yum.

Penny's cutting some teeth and I think they are almost all the way through. You can see the tops of them and feel them - so sharp!!! But her naps and sleeping at night have really improved the past two days/nights, I'm hoping that this is a sign of her returning to her normal happy self! She is such a happy baby! It's really thrown me for a loop the past few days when she was a bit sad when she wouldn't sleep, she would sit there crying with, oh, all her fingers in her mouth - not to be comforted. Gladly, she'd smile for a song or dance or the best yet - her Dad holding her up high! good things.

Other than that - the latest countdown is underway! only 35 more days until my folks come!!! Which also happens to be Good Friday, and my birthday too. Looking forward to it with much energy. Enjoy your coffee and the sun, it's a beautiful day.
