I did it again...

Okay, so I told myself that I would stop reading at a certain time.

Yea, right.

I only read around 150 pages last night, now I'm almost finished with the book. It's a great story and I'm hooked. My friend who loaned me the book has all of them, and all the movies, so sadly this won't stop after another 60 or so pages.

Besides my sleeping ruining habitat, it's 76* outside! It's December 12th!! That's 13 days until Christmas, it should be cold - keyword - SHOULD BE. I've been trying to get into the Christmas winter mode since Thanksgiving. I made little snowballs from white plastic bags to sit on our cabinet to remind me of winter. Target has gained some profit as I got a container of ornaments to fill a bowl on our table, since we don't have a tree. A lone string of lights is lit around our counter that faces the living room. And we have a total of two beautiful Christmas cards in full display!

Oh, and my poor other. I've been listening to Christmas music since Thanksgiving. It's just not feeling like winter time or anything. I don't know whether it really bothers him or if he's just not saying anything, because he doesn't want to know what might happen if he comments. I even made a batch of cookies the other night. Didn't really help as 15 minutes later I'm walking to get the mail in a short sleeved shirt and sandals.

However, only 4 more days until we leave. I'm excited to see trees without their leaves, and PLEASE HAVE COLD WEATHER!

Sorry to disappoint you. Today we were walking around without jackets on. It's a weird weird winter so far. Was freezing last weekend, but now this week? Warm, fall like weather. BTW, it was 85 degrees the day Joshua was born. We were in Texas at the time. I will say, though, it dropped pretty quickly in to the 20's sometime in January. Then back up to seventy, then down to 20 then back up to 70...all winter long. Just don't put away your shorts yet... ;)
